The Leak 2030 is a vintage 3-way passive loudspeaker manufactured in England by H. J. Leak & Co. between 1975 and 1978. Released as a successor to the Sandwich 300, it features an 8-inch (20 cm) woofer, a 4-inch (10 cm) mid-range cone, and a 1-inch (2.5 cm) dome tweeter.
 
Background and Design
The Brand: Founded by Harold Joseph Leak in London in 1934, Leak Audio became a premier name in high-fidelity British audio amplification and speaker design.
The Cone Tech: The 2030 utilized a rigid low-frequency sandwich cone design pioneered by Leak, which combined materials to reduce cone breakup and lower distortion compared to standard paper cones.
System Specs: It was built as a bass-reflex bookshelf or standmount speaker with an internal volume of roughly 25 liters, finished typically in teak or walnut veneer.
