The KEF Carlton II (Model 204, Type SP3007), introduced in 1981, was a prominent floor-standing loudspeaker from KEF. Serving as the top model in the consumer C-Series, it utilized a two-way design with a passive radiator to extend bass response, following the acoustic lineage of earlier classics like the Calinda and Reference 104aB.

Configuration: 2-way floor-standing system with a passive auxiliary bass radiator (ABR).
Drivers: Featured an 8-inch B200G (SP1075) bextrene-cone woofer, a passive radiator variant related to the famous B139, and a 1-inch dome tweeter (SP1074).
Enclosure: Generous internal volume housed in a compact floor-standing cabinet measuring 700 x 280 x 315 mm and weighing 12 kg.
Performance: Designed for amplifiers up to 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, with a frequency response of 47 Hz–20 kHz and an efficiency of 86 dB (1W/1m).
